i've been there!!!!! great place!!!!! it was a bit pricey though i think it's because i went to MANDALA SPA during my stay. it's the best spa in the entire world! google it. the foods are cheap and Filipino eurasians are hott! you will have tons of time when go there! Trust me, I did!

if you're already in the philippines and wanna go to boracay, there are two ways…
flying and ship
flying will take about 2 hours or more with land transfer
ship can take about 12 hours total (bus/ship/land transfer)
if you wanna fly, book with the airline directly.
and book early, boracay is a famous tourist destination especially in the summer months march to may…
about places to stay in, prices start from $15 a night up to $200.
i plan to go there too and would love to stay at nami villas… research it online to see… a jacuzzi at every balcony and the rooms just look so nice… perfect for a couple.
for a place to stay, you don't need to book in advance. just show up in boracay and take a look at different places. station 1 is the most beautiful and the most expensive place to stay… station 2 is where all the action is and the price is in the middle… station 3 is the cheapest… try to haggle with the resort. it's best to deal with the resort/or hotel direct for the lowest prices.

If you're from the Philippines, call Philippine Airlines http://www.philippineair.com, they have cheap packages for Filipinos. Stay in Station 1. You'll love Boracay! Have fun!

if your coming from manila it would cost you around P10,000 – P15,000. that will cover your basic expenses such as fare, food, lodging
