What are some useful stuff to bring to the Philippines during vacation?
March 30, 2009 - Posted in Philippines Vacation
light clothes
sunblock lotion
moisturizers
lip balm
a small handy purse you can hang around your neck (and defend with all your might!) to carry your camera, wallet and passport)
a good coin purse. i found out that I get a lot of loose change (P1, P5, P10) and it was really getting heavier and bulkier for my wallet. I got one from my friend and it was pretty handy. I use the coins whenever I can and I put some paper bills on it. I don't have to dig in my wallet every time I pay for something.

and yeah MSV was right. bring or buy an adaptor if you are using those three pin plugs or round plugs. I couldn't charge my phone and camera for a day because I simply forgot the sockets are different in the Philippines.
Sounds
good? Then please enter your details into this
form and let's start talking.

1. Insect Repellent if you plan to stay do lot of outdoor activity.
2. 110 to 220 electric adapter, because many places don't have 110/220 combo outlets and majority usually have 220 as standard.
3. Meds: Pepto Bismol, Tylenol, Advil, Allergy.
4. Sunblock lotion, because Filipinos can indeed get sunburn
5. Lip balm
6. Date book with important numbers, addresses, information
7. Anti-bacterial lotion

remember all the things need must be able to meet TSA standards. Went there last summer in August. Get your vaccinations, drink only bottled water,……..sunglasses and sunblock, sandals, short are all sold there cheaper than in America. … Money, credit cards, (call ur credit card company and tell them you will be overseas, or your card wont work!).. Be ready for the people to stare at you. Whites are there, but you are the vast minority, the girls will smile at you… stay in crowded area's, (not hard to do).. be aware of the traveling in area's of known terrorism to American's.. Be always aware of your surroundings.. and be cautious when alone.
